BOINC (Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing) is a software platform for distributed computing that uses volunteered computer resources to compute various scientific research projects.
This guide is intended to help users deploy BOINC across their Microsoft Windows network in a few easy steps. Even if you have very limited experience in network administration, the guide will hold your hand through the first steps of customizing the installation with your preferences, to getting it running on all of your PCs in next to no time at all.
If you have somehow stumbled across my site by accident and haven't come across BOINC before, have a look at their website and join the World Community Grid project and Team Andrax - your computer might as well be doing something useful when you're not!
